“We took the decision to update our bathroom a few years after moving in to our house.

“Jack Mellor had already been our plumber when we replaced our kitchen and central heating, so we approached him to help us replace our bathroom.

“We had some ideas about potential new layouts but Jack was able to provide us with some clarity, design and technical input to come up with a new layout which we really liked. This included finding room for a standalone cubicle shower, much to my delight!

“As a couple that work full time we didn’t have the capacity to project manage all the disciplines required to completely refurbish our bathroom so Jack acted as main contractor and project managed all the work; employing the services of a carpenter, a plasterer, painters and decorators and floor layers. This meant that we only had to deal with Jack as a single point of contact which was a great help and far less stressful than trying to do it ourselves.
